| The goals of Tri-Ergon Productions are to produce at least two projects
per year in the
$20,000,000 budget range.
The type of productions that we envision are musical bio's in the genre of "THE BENNY GOODMAN STORY", "THE GLENN MILLER STORY", THE RED NICHOLS STORY" and others (these I feel I could add authenticity and realism in the musical sound of the period through the expertise gained from my phonograph record collection). Many of these films though somewhat commercially successful did not present the music authentically. As a result more sophisticated audiences of today find these films flawed. Other types of projects would be science fiction, dramatic bio's of important persons whose stories contain the proper elements of story content that with a little "Hollywooding" would make them commercially interesting to a mass audience, and other projects worthy of production from a commercial viewpoint. I have many true public domain stories in my library of possibilities that have either never been touched or were made so long ago that a remake might be commercially viable. A good example of such a remake is "TITANIC" which was made at least three times before the blockbuster version. Our first project will be the story of a person who was considered the Glen Miller of Europe. It is a true story that I possess permission from the artist by way of a signed letter of intent. This story takes place during the Second World War. Finally our goal is to bring quality entertainment that will fill the constant need for good product among the worlds' vast audience and would provide investors and exhibitors with the satisfaction of a good return on their investment and the pride of having contributed to a prideful product for the screen that will endure through many theatrical exhibitions and reruns on syndicated television. |
